More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
With over 5 years of babysitting experience, I’ve cared for children ages 1–9, creating fun, educational activities like craft projects, learning games, and outdoor play. I’m also an experienced tutor, having worked with elementary and middle school students for over 10 years, so I’m well-versed in homework help and teaching life skills. My experience extends to caring for children with special needs, including my autistic younger brother, which has enhanced my patience and adaptability. Additionally, I’m trained as a junior service dog trainer, working with kids and adults with disabilities. As the oldest of four siblings, I’ve managed busy schedules and kept things running smoothly. I’m CPR and First Aid certified and am passionate about ensuring kids are safe, happy, and engaged.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating fun and educational experiences, so I enjoy a wide range of activities! Craft projects are always a hit (I love scrapbooking and art) whether it’s painting, building, or making something creative from everyday materials. I also enjoy organizing learning games that help kids develop new skills while having fun (a game that teaches is always great). Outdoor play is always fun as I have many fun and creative games to play with them. I’m also passionate about reading books and storytelling, as it sparks kids’ imaginations and allows them to learn to think for themselves. Additionally, I love incorporating small learning moments into everyday activities, from cooking together to teaching basic life skills! As a musician, your kids can learn the joys of music and even put on cute little shows for you. As a baker and event planner, your kids will love the "DISNEY FOOD NIGHTS" and all of other fun food based projects we can do together. Everyday adventures are a must for kids!
The most important part about being a nanny...
is remembering that our job is also to help the kids grow as a person. Kids will find their own way, but it is important to guide them along those everyday skills even while we have cute dance parties. We also are a tool for parents to be able to take a break from their 24-hour parenting job. This means that we are sometimes a lifeline allowing parents some much needed freedom. I wouldn't trade that for anything.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had the privilege of caring for my younger brother, who is autistic, which has given me deep insight into the unique needs of children with special needs. This experience taught me patience, flexibility, and the importance of clear communication. In addition to that, I’ve worked as a junior service dog trainer, where I’ve supported children, adults with disabilities, and veterans with PTSD.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite babysitter/ nannying moment was when the two kids I was watching became interested in my marching band and drama performances. The kids practically begged me to teach them things to put on a show for their parents. We made cool outfits and decorated the house with what we had. They put on a full 10-minute show that was cute and funny. The kids even started the show by giving the parents "concessions" (popcorn and candy drawings). The entire experience was recorded by the parents. It was a memory for us all!

Hi! I'm 23 and have been babysitting/nannying for several years. As the oldest of five, I grew up with hands-on childcare experience long before it was ever a job... helping raise my siblings taught me patience, structure, and genuine love for kids' company.
I'm currently in ministry school, interning with our Next Generations ministries where I help run our children's church and youth group. Working with kids of all ages every week has only deepened my love for this... from toddlers needing a steady hand to teens needing someone to listen. I'm comfortable with infants through teens, and I love getting to know each kid's personality and what makes them tick.
Originally from California, I've been married about a year, and my husband shares this same passion for working with kids... caring for families is something we're both genuinely invested in, not just something I do on my own.
I'd love to bring that same care and consistency to your family!
