Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve babysat for a family friend’s two kids (ages 4 and 7), usually on evenings or weekends. I handled dinner, helped with bedtime routines, and kept them entertained with movies, games, or coloring. Their parents always told me they appreciated how calm and patient I was, even when the younger one got a little chaotic. Ive also I’ve spent a lot of time watching my younger cousins during holidays and family gatherings. I’d keep them busy with crafts, movies, or outdoor play, and I was usually the one adults trusted to keep an eye on them because I’m responsible and good at keeping kids calm and happy.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy doing simple, fun activities with kids, whether we’re reading books together, doing arts and crafts, or playing easy board games that keep them thinking. I love making little movie nights with snacks, going outside for walks or park time, and joining in on whatever imaginative world they come up with. I’m also patient with homework and like helping them understand things at their own pace. Sometimes we bake simple treats, make forts, or have little dance breaks to burn energy.

The most important part of being a nanny to me is creating a safe, calm, and loving environment where a child feels understood and supported. I want them to feel comfortable being themselves, knowing they can come to me when they’re excited, upset, or need help. Building trust, encouraging their confidence, and being someone who brings patience and stability into their day is what matters most to me.
