The most important thing to me is for the kids and family to feel safe and comfortable ! Making sure we are all on the same page . Keeping everybody at peace is priority. And of course making the day fun and safe for the kids !!!
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for a few special needs children my younger sister being my first one . But beyond that I have worked at childserve which is a special needs facility designed to help families and children understand each other and help families learn how to comfort there special needs member better ! There I did physical, swim ,and speech therapy as well as paper work on observations.
