A little bit about me

I’m a 24-year old young woman who has always been keenly interested in child development and early childhood education. I am from Denmark and grew up in both Copenhagen.

I have worked as a nanny for children between the ages of 6 months to 12 years, with most being around the kindergarten/early elementary age (4-7). My duties as a nanny involved school/day-care pick-ups, preparing home-cooked meals, assisting with homework, and engaging in a bedtime routine.

My most recent and pertinent experience in childcare was when I served as a specialized teacher’s aide at a private elementary school in Denmark to a third-grade boy with dyslexia, autism, and mild Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
I consider myself an outdoorsy, go-getting, initiative-driven nanny and understand the importance of being active both mentally and physically. Thus, I am completely acclimated and ready for days of walking, reading, sports, arts, and language-learning.
