A little bit about me

I started babysitting at 12 years old for a family that had a 4 month old baby boy. I was given the opportunity to become a certified babysitter through Red Cross and through out my time with that family I grew such a love and passion for working with children. A few years later, a baby girl joined the family and I had two littles under the age of 3 that I cared for unsupervised multiple days a week. I worked with this family for years. I've grown up helping raise kids and have had numerous jobs working for families with kids of all ages! I love nature and am passionate about utilizing the beautiful world around us as learning opportunities for the children I spend time with. I'm very creative and have a big imagination! I love arts and crafts, playing with toys, singing songs, playing (and making up) fun games! My ideas for entertainment are endless! I am also a very nurturing and patient person. I'm prone to teach and "discipline" in a gentle and nonjudgmental way!
