I have been a youth counselor for 4 years and throughout my career I have gained experience working with children ranging from 2-16.
I consider myself patient, creative, youthful, and friendly. I’m very hobby driven so I enjoy outdoor activities, board games, puzzles, and educational activities. I can plan daily activities and schedules with parental overview but I will always start by following the parent’s lead first and consider household rules.

I am willing to give written reports, and verbal updates at the end of the day but can also send these throughout the days care as well.

I am CPR and First Aid certified as well as TBRI trained. I am also willing to do a background check.

Transportation is not an issue for me as I own a car and if I need vacation or time off, I strive to give 2-3 weeks in advance.

Board games and crafts are a huge go to of mine! I own a large collection of games as well as craft materials and a long list of fun things to create. I also enjoy baking and getting my hands dirty outside, so insect collecting, sports, and gardening are just fine with me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a nanny, is making sure that all kids receive the care and nurturance kids need to grow and develop healthy bodies and minds. Children need attention in their earlier years that cannot always be provided through the day to day tasks parents are given in order to provide. To me, there’s an importance to provide a safe and necessary environment for children when those moments arise.
