More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy spending time with children and helping them learn and grow through fun and meaningful activities. I love doing arts and crafts with them, such as drawing, painting, and making simple DIY projects that encourage creativity. Reading storybooks together is another activity I truly enjoy, especially when it sparks their curiosity and imagination. I also like playing educational games that help teach basic concepts. Outdoor play is important too—I enjoy going to the park, playing games, or just exploring nature with them. Music and singing are also part of the fun, but I am a bit off in singing since I am out of tune. I often sing nursery rhymes or dance with the children to help them express themselves. As a former teacher, I also find joy in helping with homework or tutoring, especially in Science and English. I believe in creating a safe, caring, and positive environment where children can feel supported and happy while they learn and play.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Here’s a thoughtful paragraph you can use to answer “What is the most important part of being a nanny?” — ideal for interviews, profiles, or applications:
---
For me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, nurturing relationship with the child and their family. Children need to feel safe, loved, and supported in order to grow and learn with confidence. As a nanny, I am not just someone who watches over them—I am a role model, a guide, and a source of comfort. It’s important to understand each child’s unique personality, encourage their development, and communicate openly with their parents. Creating a positive and stable environment where a child feels secure, happy, and respected is truly the heart of this role. When children know they are cared for, they thrive—and that’s the most rewarding part of being a nanny.
