More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Raised in a large family, with 6 siblings. Started babysitting as a teenager, and rsised one child of my own. I now have 3 grandsons, and lots of nieces & nephews! I've worked as a nanny for the past 10 years. Mainly, I've spent 5 years with my families- until the children enter kindergarten. I love kids & they love me!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am very hands-on with the children I care for. The activities are age appropriate, and take place both indoors and outdoors. I personally love to read, so books are a mainstay in our day. We do puzzles, race cars, play trains, throw balls back & forth, go for walks, swing, race around outside, play hide & seek, and have dance parties. Whatever your child is currently into, we're likely doing that.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My top priority as a nanny is to keep your child(ren) safe. My second priority is that the child is happy!. I listen to the parents and follow their lead as to how they are raising their child. Communication with the parents is vital for a successful relationship.
