If it’s safe, possible to do, and parents approve- I usually give the children the opportunity to choose what to do. But of course i suggest activities- more on the creative or outdoor side because I think that’s more important then spending hours on technology. I also support them helping around them house and giving them life skills.

To me the most important part besides their safety is the bond between the children and yourself - to me if you have a bond not only is your job fun and enjoyable but you both get to be each others friend and learn about each and teach each other things.
