A child I watched in the past we’ve decided to play hide and seek. Clearly they had different plans. I spent 10 minutes looking for them, and could not find them. Turns out they were behind the couch and nearly scared me out of my pants! We spend countless minutes laughing afterwards!

Hi, my name is Sarah and I have been working with children full-time for the last 8 years! The first three years were spent working in a daycare, first as a toddler teacher and then a preschool teacher. I spent the last five years as a nanny for a family with 3 children. I have experience with children of all ages, from newborn to school-age.
While I do believe structure and consistency help children thrive, I do also have a more laidback approach to childcare. In my experience, an environment that is too strict becomes stressful for not just the children, but also the parents and myself. Adults are present in a child’s life to teach and guide, but that doesn’t mean we can’t also let a child follow their natural instincts. Children are people too!
I am willing to plan activities and crafts, go on occasional outings, prepare meals, and do some basic cleaning and pet care. I was CPR certified in the past but that has since expired. I am willing to renew it if necessary.
