I love going to community activities such as storytime at the local library. The train park is always a great time for little ones. For older kids, I love supporting self guided play by coming up with adventures together. We can cook, learn about new topics, follow along to bob ross videos; as long as the activity is safe and within parental approval :)

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the best moments I have had as a nanny was with an adorable 4 year-old boy. He loved to ask questions and one day asked me what a sign said. We sounded it out together and with some assistance, he figured it out. The sheer joy that radiated from him when he did was amazing. I have never seen a kid so proud of themselves. Of course, we stopped at the library after to feed the ducks and choose a few books.
