For over a year I regularly cared for a friend’s 2 boys (ages 2 and 4) while she went to work. I also in my volunteer work I provide resources to parents and children who are struggling financially.

I always have enjoyed doing arts and crafts with kids. I think activities like pipe cleaner animals are a great activity for kids. I am a bit of an outdoor person as well so any activity involves the outdoors I think is great.

Providing kids with safe care while their parents are away. Giving children mental stimulation (not just sitting on a screen all day) for proper brain development!
My experience with special needs children...
My friends 2 year old is diabetic and I would regularly provide care for him. I learned how to monitor his glucose levels, provide insulin, and ways to supplement his low blood sugar. I also learned how he would act when his blood sugar was too low so I could know before even checking his sugar.

Going on a walk with my friend’s kids. They both tried to surprise me with one of my favorite flowers (I knew that they were picking them, I just pretended that it was a surprise as well haha)
