This isn’t an awesome story, but I do look back and laugh. Once I went to pick up one of the kids from day care, and at this particular day care the kids get up and get into a line when they see their parents. It was the start of the year so the teacher didn’t know any faces or what kid goes with what adult. So that day I walked in and even though I was one of the first adults in the room my kid refused to get into line so we could leave. And for context: the day before I told him no he couldn’t have something. So then it was just me and him left and I was like hey buddy lets goooo and he lost his marbles- he started crying, he said he's never seen me before, they got security there to escort me out… Then they finally ended up calling the parents and the mom was like oh my gosh thats my babysitter, I am so sorry. And they all apologized but I still look back and for some reason I find it cute. That never happened again, he cried on our last day together.
