A little bit about me

Hello I'm Julia. As an older sibling to a 2 year old and an 8 year old I've had plenty of hands on experience caring for young children. I’ve learned how to be patient and attentive to their needs. I'm a rising junior at East Providence High School and also work at a local nursing home where I’ve gained valuable experience, assisting elderly with daily tasks and showing compassion. I’m excited to bring my experience and skills into a babysitting role, engaging in fun activities with little ones!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Raising my 2 and 8 year old brothers has been a challenging yet rewarding experience. When mom was working a lot I've had to juggle daily tasks like homework help, meals, and bath time while also being a role model. Despite the struggles l've developed a strong sense of responsibility for their wellbeing and development.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I've had so much fun with my brothers from arts and crafts projects like making cards and pictures to playing dress-up and having pretend play sessions. l've even taught them how to make simple pizzas and decorate cupcakes.

The most important part about being a nanny...

As a nanny and big sister I'm all about creating a fun and loving vibe where kids can be themselves, learn, and grow. It's all about making a difference in their little lives and being a person they can count on.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When my brother was 6 he decided to "reorganize" our art supplies and ended up covering himself, the table, and the floor in a rainbow of paint, markers, and glitter. It was a chaotic moment but it’s a memory that still makes me smile to this day.

I have three years of experience in a childcare center where I worked with kids from ages 6 weeks to 6 years.
