My experience caring for children includes volunteering at the Wellfleet Public Library where we read books and did arts and crafts with the kids. I have experience babysitting my cousins three daughters who are ages 2, 3, and 8. I also Have a year of experience nannying professionally for a one year old and a three year old.

As an art major, I love to draw, make art with kids, and assist them with expressing their creativity. If the kids are more of the active type we could go to a playground or park. Board games and baking are a couples more things that could be fun to keep the kids entertained. Overall it's up to the kids of what their natural interest are.

The most important part about being a nanny to me is making the children feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. I believe its important to be stern and hold your ground when needed, however, I always treat children with respect. I identify my self as a warm and loving person and I will always be there to listen with patience and understanding.
