More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have 4 years of experience taking care of kids and I am currently living in France working as an Au pair. I have experiences working with children with a wide age range (from new-borns to teenagers), including children whose first language is not English.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am gentle and patient with children and also energetic (I can play with them for hours!) I love painting, drawing, and doing arts and crafts. I often teach children how to draw or paint, or teach origamis. I also teach them how to swim as I have a long experience of going to a swimming school (or just simply play with them in the pool!). As I took tai chi lessons in an tai chi organization for 6 years, I sometimes teach children tai chi too! I can also do Japanese Calligraphy as I went Calligraphy school for 12 years. I love dancing, singing, playing games... etc. When the weather allows it, I often take the kids outside and play sports or get creative with nature.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me about being a nanny is making sure that the children are always safe, and always engaging with the children with a gentle and patient heart. I also believe that communication is very important when being with the family in order to adapt and understand my role as a nanny that the family expects.

I do not have any experiences with special needs children, but I am willing to learn and help however I can!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are the time when I get to see the children learn or engage with the subject that I teach them such as drawing and painting, tai chi, Calligraphy, or Swimming, and how they get creative and make something of their own in their unique way. There is so much I can learn from them with their fresh imagination, so it is all a precious moment for me to see the world through a different perspective.
And the time when the baby smiles or laughs, or when I bake with the children and it turns out a failure, but we just laugh about it because it was simply fun baking together, or the moments when the children come back from school and are eager to tell me their fun, silly, or sad moments they had in their class.
