Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I've been with one family for over 10.5 years their children are 11 and 14, i started with them when they were 14 months and 3.5 years old. Im no longer needed as much as the children are older now but i do help them out here and there still. The kids are still very much part of life and i still try and see them as much as i can! They are technically family at this point and always a first priority. I just recently left my current family of 3 years. Their little one is about to be 4 and I've been with them since they were 10 months old. I've worked with several other families in the past and having experience in all different age groups from 0-13 and more than 6 kids at a time. I used to work in our church nursery taking care of kids aged 0-3 but quit due to moving. I volunteered in our food bank nusery where i was responsible for watching up to 12 kids ranging in ages from 0-12.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts with my littles, coloring, painting. Playing games or whatever intrests the kids are into. I enjoy going for walks or taking the kids out on little outings or to the park. I enjoy reading as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is being there for you and your kids and ensuring their saftey while you are not able to be there. Making sure they are well cared for and their needs are being met!
My experience with special needs children...
Several of my previous kids have had special needs. I've also helped care for my siblings who also have special needs as well. So I feel like I do have experience and do well that aspect.
