"Julia was an amazing nanny for my boys! At the time we had a five year-old and 18 month old. She created engaging lesson plans for my boys that met them where they were. She took them to the library, down to the farmers market to see live music, to the park, to the zoo, and even made just hanging out at our house or in the backyard a fun and educational time! She did science experiments and arts and crafts and ran and played with them. She was patient and kind and did not ignore them so she could be on her phone. We all (husband and kids included) reminisce fondly about her! She was one of the best things that happened to our family during that season of life. I would, without a doubt, recommend her to anyone looking for a similar experience!"

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with diverse learning and developmental needs in both classroom and caregiving settings. As an educator, I supported all students including children on the autism spectrum and mental and physical challenges, by adapting lesson plans, providing clear routines, and using positive behavior support strategies to promote engagement and emotional regulation. I worked with support staff to ensure accommodations were implemented effectively and consistently.
In childcare and enrichment environments, I supported children with varying sensory, communication, and social-emotional needs by creating calm, structured spaces and offering individualized guidance. I am attentive to each child’s strengths and challenges and adjust my approach to meet them where they are, whether through visual supports, flexible pacing, or hands-on learning. My goal is constant inclusion, confidence, and independence to ensuring every child is safe, respected, and supported.
