I worked as a local babysitter for about two years for 2 children, newborn, and toddler. I would start at 6am and be done around 3pm. while the kids were sleeping i would clean up the house, do some dishes, and make food.

I enjoy going on walks, going to the park, trying out crafts, baking cookies, playing with toys, having movie nights, painting, drawing, coloring, and anything to get the kids having a good time.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is building a real connection with the kid and their family. When a child feels safe, cared for, and understood, everything else just falls into place. It’s about being patient, dependable, and someone they can trust and have fun with while still helping them learn and grow.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I was babysitting this little girl and she said my name for the first time. I had been with her since she said "mama" for the first time too so it was a very special moment for me and it truly makes me smile whenever I think about it.
