I have now worked in childcare for just about 3 years. Although, I have been babysitting and caring for children for much longer.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I personally love giving children of all ages different and new fun experiences. I really enjoy doing arts, crafts, dancing and baking with the children. Incorporating learning based play for kids important to me because they are able to learn so much just by playing. I also love reading books with the kids and think it’s very crucial to talk about everything we see in the books. I do also have my own materials; different books (including fun but also educational books), any artwork materials, flashcards and different fun toys related to what we are learning about.

The most important part about working in childcare is making the children feel happy and comfortable to grow while also being able to ensure their safety.
My experience with special needs children...
Although my experience is very limited, being in a daycare I have worked with children that needed extra care and attention. I have also babysat an special needs toddler on two occasions.
