Shamya K. - Seeking Work in Baltimore

Live-In Part-Time Nanny Available in Baltimore, MD: Shamya K.

I would describe myself as kind, patient, and caring. I naturally create a warm and safe environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and happy. I’m responsible, gentle, and understanding, and I always try to treat every child with kindness and respect. I enjoy spending time with kids, helping them learn, laugh, and feel cared for. I’m also dependable, attentive, and willing to help however I can to make parents feel confident and at ease while their children are in my care. I have experience caring for many children of different ages, including babies, toddlers, and infants through helping with my siblings, step-siblings, cousins, and other family members. Because of this, I’m comfortable with keeping children safe, entertained, cared for, and supported throughout the day.

Rokhaya B. - Seeking Work in Baltimore

Babysitter Available in Baltimore, MD: Rokhaya B.

I love working with kids and creating a fun, supportive environment where they can learn and feel comfortable. I have experience working with children from 3K–5th grade through teaching. I especially enjoy helping younger kids with reading and phonics. I’m patient, creative, and adaptable, and I’ve also spent significant time abroad, which strengthened my cross-cultural communication skills and ability to connect with families from different backgrounds. In my free time, I enjoy reading, modest fashion, and creative activities that I often bring into my interactions with children.

Mikayla C. - Seeking Work in Baltimore

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Baltimore, MD: Mikayla C.

Hi ! I’m mikayla, I’ve loved working with kids for as long as I could remember. In high school i did the early childhood program when toddlers would come and we would create lessons for them. In college i studied early childhood development and was working on my certificates to eventually open my own daycare one day. I had to stop school for personal reasons but plan on going back to finish. I’ve worked with two families as a nanny before. The first one was two boys 10 & 6 and the 6 year old had autism. It was different to work with a child with special needs but quickly i picked up on the things i had to do/say to help in his own way. I left shortly after 5/6 months because of moving. The next year i was a live in nanny for a family friend temporarily until school was over. They had twin boys that were 4 and two middle school girls. I’ve also babysat endless families and worked as an after school teacher aid for Columbia association. I want to continue to work with kids, helping.
