Hi! I’m Jus’si Johnson-Gibbs, a biology major at Virginia Commonwealth University and a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House, supporting families with children receiving medical care.

I’ve been babysitting since my teenage years, gaining valuable experience with children of various ages. A meaningful experience was providing overnight care for a three-year-old for several months, which helped me become comfortable with bedtime routines and creating a safe environment for young children. As a big sister to two younger siblings, caregiving is natural for me. I also have experience with children who have special needs, including my three-year-old godbrother on the autism spectrum, teaching me patience and adaptability.
