Hi Hi! I am a student at Caldwell University. I am a playful, funny and caring- but also a hard worker who will be dedicated to the children's well being. I worked as a babysitter all throughout high school. I work well with younger children and infants as well as all different types of pets. I worked as a sitter for multiple families in Hoboken throughout high school. While working in Hoboken, I did things such as housekeeping, meal prep, dishes, kids wash, etc. in order to help out around the house. While attending college I worked with families in Chatham, Livingston and Nutley. In addition, I do have a car to take the children to appointments or activities if needed. I am also fully vaccinated.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was apart of a Child Development program in my high school which was a college course with field experience on dealing with young children. This course helped learn about the development of young children as well as skills to help them grow. I was a student teacher in a 3rd grade class for a few months, through this I learned how to speak to children as well as understand their mentality and feelings in order to cater to any situatuon.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy outdoor sports. I played tennis and volleyball in high school as well as did independent cheerleading. I also enjoy drawing, painting, building, all of the fun crafty things as well!

My experience with special needs children...

Through my experience as a student teacher, there was a child who required extra attention due to his special needs. However, after spending time with him- he grew more comfortable and I learned to understand his way of communication in certain situations and that's what the important part was to me.
