A little bit about me

A quick overview of my work history- I graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in microbiology. As I worked on getting my bachelor's degree, I began my career in the medical/clinical laboratory field in 2016. Before my career in that field, I nannied for 3+ years. I worked with families that have multiple kids and had responsibilities like grocery shopping, errand runs and light house keeping.

My background is in science and much of my parenting style is based off research backed parenting. My parenting style mimics secure attachment parenting and I’m a fan of compassion meditation to help learn empathy, compassion and emotional regulation. I also believe Montessori learning is a great way to set up young toddlers to develop real world skills, and I hope to have lots of outdoor time to connect with nature and their environment!
