A little bit about me

Hii! I’m currently a student at Valdosta state university, for nursing and health science. I started here Aug 2022 at 16 yrs old after graduating early from high school at 16 May of 2022. I’m from Griffin, Georgia. I’m currently 19 yrs old going into my senior year this fall. My birthday is September 1st. I have a 6 month old chihuahua corgi who’s super friendly and attached to me, she is trained and very smart. She is basically my shadow! I will be starting summer class June 27 Mon-Fri for human anatomy and physiology. The time is 9:45am-1:00pm, this includes lectures and labs. So I’m looking for something over night or early, I’m super organized and great with schedules, so keeping your home tidy and running smoothly is no problem. I can definitely help with meal prep, light cleaning, and making sure everything stays in order while you're away. If you have kids, I'm all about fun and safe activities! I'm good at planning engaging games and outings, and I always prioritize safety.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've been there for my younger nephew and nieces, younger siblings, cousins etc. planning fun activities and helping with homework. I also volunteered at the local community center, assisting with kids' programs. 😊

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some activities I enjoy are "Simon Says" for some fun and movement, or set up an indoor scavenger hunt with clues! Outdoors, "Duck, Duck, Goose" is always a hit.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Building a connection with the kids is super important! It's all about creating a fun and safe environment where they feel comfortable and happy. Also, keeping you in the loop with updates and any fun stories from the day is key!

My experience with special needs children...

My mom and auntie volunteered me to help watch older adults with special needs. It was a great way to learn how to be patient and caring. I got to assist them with their daily activities and keep them company.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One time, we had a themed movie night where everyone dressed up as their favorite characters. It was hilarious to see the kids' costumes, and we made popcorn and watched a bunch of GREAT MOVIES!
