Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am a certified teacher and have taught children for 25 years from preschool age through high school. I was also a nanny for a couple of years prior to becoming a teacher. I recently retired early from teaching and am seeking to earn extra income working with kids without going back into a classroom setting. I have 3 adult children and 2 grand children. My areas of expertise in teaching are music, art, dance, drama and all academic subjects. I have taken CPR 2-3 times.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Music, art, dance, drama, story time, science scavenger hunts, and foreign languages are some of my areas of expertise with children. I like to go on dinosaur digs, nature walks, and star gazing with my grand children.

Ensuring the health and safety of the children in my care and nurturing them to the best of my ability in a positive way. Being an extension of the parent to assist in the learning and development of children that enables them to flourish, excel, and be well-adjusted. Creating positive influence and being a role model for children in teaching them love and respect.

I have many years of experience teaching classes that included special needs children. I have taken college courses for my Bachelors and Masters degrees that included curriculum training on proper protocol for teaching special needs children, as well.
