The most important part about being a nanny is being a trusted role model that the children I care for can look up to at any moment. I have a huge role to fill while the parents are gone; it's important that I fill it and take care of the children in my care as my number one priority.

I have worked with children who have special needs in many volunteer experiences. These experiences include the special populations prom hosted by my organization ECU Ambassadors and the Special Olympics.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Although it's a hard list to choose from, my favorite nanny moment with a baby boy that I cared for was during belly time. He was on his belly and was able to hold his head up on his own. I was able to record and send to his mom, which was so exciting!
