A little bit about me

I love working with children! Growing up, my mother had a daycare in our home so from an early age I was helping her take care of the kids after school and on summer break. From February 2024 to August 2026, I was the nanny for a family in Prairieville, LA. I cared for a two year old and a one year old. The two year old was three months old when I started and the one year old was a newborn. From January 2026 to August 2026, I worked part-time as the nanny for a one year old. For 5 1/2 years I worked as the Infant/Toddler Coordinator at Universal Studios Child Care Center, in Los Angeles, CA. There were 8 infants and 8 toddlers. I'm certified in Early Childhood Education. I was a nanny for three different families (ages ranging from newborn to five years old) while I lived in Los Angeles. In my spare time I love to read, exercise, watch movies, spend time with my fiance, my family, friends and I enjoy working in my garden.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was the Infant/Toddler Coordinator at Universal Studios Child Care in Los Angles, CA, for five and half years. There were eight infants and eight toddlers in the pod. Ages ranging from four months to two years old. I started out as a teacher and worked my way up to Coordinator of pod one. I've also been a nanny for five different families. Ages ranging from newborn to five years old. I can provide references.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Children learn through play. That's why play is so important to me. I also enjoy reading to them, doing arts and crafts, outdoor play, music and movement, educational games, sensory play, building and imaginative play and helping to build routines. Anything they are up for doing!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me the most important part about being a nanny is making sure the children's needs are being met at all times. Making sure they are in a safe environment. Playing with them, reading to them, feeding them, showing them good behavior and most of all making sure they feel loved and cared for. You can never give too many hugs. I also believe in communication between me and the children. For example: making sure to let them know what I'm going to do before I do it. Also, following parental instructions.

My experience with special needs children...

The only experience I have with special needs children is when my 17 year old nephew comes to visit. My sister lives in Dallas with her husband and 3 boys. He has a very
rare condition called Joubert Syndrome. He loves when I read to him and he loves giving hugs. He's an angel.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Many years ago, I began caring for a precious three-year-old girl as her nanny. On my very first day, when it was time for me to leave her home, she got emotional and reached for me. A genuine and touching reaction that revealed the trust and attachment we had already begun to build. That moment filled me with a deep sense of fulfillment and joy, knowing that I had created a safe and loving environment for her so quickly.
