I am not a huge fan of screen time with kids. I love being outdoors, going for walks/hike if able, swimming, exploring, etc. I also love crafts and drawing! I enjoy reading with kids and teaching any school subjects.
My experience with special needs children...
I am an RBT and work in-clinic full time. I personally have autism and ADHD but on top of living with them I also have worked with multiple children with autism/ADHD. I have experience supporting children who struggle with over stimulation and outbursts. I also have experience operating insulin pumps for type 1 diabetes. As well as experience with severe allergies. I also know ASL at a conversational level and have experience with hearing aids and cochlear implants.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Anytime I notice progress in something a child was struggling with. Also the first time the child is fully comfortable with you and you get to meet their whole personality.
