More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
As a dedicated toddler teacher, I have discovered my passion for providing individualized attention to children while pursuing my teaching degree. In my current role, I develop engaging lesson plans that encompass a variety of subjects, including math, science, language arts (with some ASL), creative arts, physical fitness, and social manners. I strive to ensure that my students are actively using their developmental skills while fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children indoors include dancing, practicing cleanliness, dramatic play, experimenting with science projects involving water, air, and dirt, and creating art that encourages their creativity.
Activities I love doing outdoors include dramatic play, where I get to see them in character and participate with myself and friends or classmates, which fills me with joy. Art is also a great activity to do outdoors with children, allowing them to connect with nature and be inspired by the surroundings. Additionally, relying on physical fitness and teaching them new poses to practice helps me understand their strengths and weaknesses, rather than forcing them to try something new or challenging.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most crucial aspect of teaching is building children’s trust. Without it, they won’t be willing to take risks or feel comfortable in my presence. However, with trust, they’ll be more open to engaging in activities and learning new things, as well as embracing new experiences.
My experience with special needs children...
I have no experience with special needs children but I'm willing to learn what I can do to help them communicate and learn.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite part about being a teacher is witnessing their growth, both individually and collectively. I had a child in my class who was reluctant to share or use their manners. However, with consistent practice, they gradually improved. One day, I observed them approaching a friend and using American Sign Language to sign “please.” When the other child refused, they simply walked away, picked up another toy, handed it to the friend, and asked again. They then engaged in a friendly toy trade.
