Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a CNA for nursing homes and hospital's so is my mom so I have quite a bit of experience with kids/Teens I even worked with special need kids as well. plus I use to babysit my cousins all the time.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like art's and crafts, adventuring, dress up, sports playing tag or whatever activities the kids are into. I like to accommodate what the children need and want but put my foot down as well, if a tantrum happens go about it easily and tell the child what they did wrong and what they can do and not do, but most of all I just like having fun and enjoy being around children and hopefully me and my husband will have some of are own.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Responsibility, respect, learning new things about people getting to know the family and what there like how they raise their kids so I can follow the right rules and step's to make sure I'm not stepping on boundaries or anything. I love being able to give children the comfort and joy they need and always deserve families can get busy and that's where nanny's or babysitter's come in to help the family out on what they need for their children and then selves.
My experience with special needs children...
I've cared for kids with IEP's or any learning disabilities, I've helped kids go through chemo treatments and more,but I'll never forget one little girl who was born with cerebral palsy which left her handy caped for life I was her care giver till she passed away a year ago but that's what drives me every kid deserves to be equal and treated the same.

I took classes through Pueblo community college studying early childhood education where I went to a local elementary school and worked with the preschool program and hoped to become a teacher. I grew up volunteering as a counselor at a summer camp ranging from ages 5-12. When I started at Fort Lewis, my passion for crime and society was something I wanted to connect with my studies, so I got my degree in Criminology and Justice Studies with minors in prelaw, political science and sociology and human services. I still missed working with kids though! I then became a preschool teacher which was such an amazing , special, and growing experience for me. I was able to intern at the courthouse in the morning and go to such a fun silly encouraging environment in the afternoon! I realized getting a job in the field right out of school is something I don’t want to do. I want to have more open of a schedule and keep the light of kids around in my life!
