I have experience as a teacher’s aid in the preschool setting, so have learned diverse and creative ways to engage children and foster interest in education and appropriate socialization.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Things I love to do with the children in my care are fun and interactive games, puzzles, reading, and imaginative play. Outdoors I enjoy thinking of new and creative ways to get our bodies moving, so coming up with things exciting obstacle courses are always fun. I also enjoy bringing them to parks and other outdoor areas to run around!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important thing about being a nanny is to work in tandem with the parents to create an environment where their children can learn, grow, and achieve a strong sense of self. Fostering the children’s unique interests and helping them hit appropriate developmental and educational goals help with this; I strongly believe and personally find so much fulfillment in these areas as a nanny.

My experience with special needs children...

I have extensive experience both nannying and teaching children with special needs including those on the autism spectrum and those with behavioral issues. I think it’s important to learn and understand each individual child’s unique abilities and needs to best support their growth and development.
