More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Recently, I worked as a teacher's assistant helping children ages 5 to 9. Additionally, I served as a health aide at a daycare for children with special needs. I also have extensive experience babysitting.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy reading, playing, watching movies, going outside, and exploring new places to go.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, loving environment where children feel supported to grow and be themselves. I believe that being a nanny isn’t just about supervision—it’s about forming meaningful connections, encouraging curiosity, and being a dependable partner for families. Every child is unique, and I value the opportunity to meet them where they’re at, celebrate their strengths, and help them thrive.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with kids with autism, nonverbal communication, and behavioral needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a child I cared for finally mastered tying their shoes after weeks of practice together. The excitement on their face and the pride they felt were priceless, and it reminded me why I love this work so much. Being able to celebrate those little victories and support children as they grow is one of the most rewarding parts of being a nanny.

I live just northeast of Omaha with my fiancé and we love to fish, run, hike, and cook delicious food. I enjoy working with children because of their love of learning and exploration of the world. In the last 6 years, I have nannied for families with children age 3months-10years. My specialty is working with children under 2, so I absolutely adore story time, singing, and exploring the outdoors no matter the season. I believe that every child deserves the amount of attention that they desire and that is what helps them become the most well rounded adults.

My name is Hattie McLane, a 21 year old pre-health student at Creighton University. I work 3 days a week as a Certified Nursing Assistant and am BLS and CPR certified. I am from Kansas City, MO, where I have worked as a summer nanny, floating pre-school aide, and consistent babysitter, so I have experience with children from ages 6mo-8 years. I absolutely adore kids, and I hope to one day work as either a nurse or hospital employee to care for and begter the lives of children, mothers, and families. Since coming to college, I have missed working with kiddos, and I am looking to find a part-time or occasional babysitting job to get back that fun, fulfilling passion of mine. Looking forward to connecting and working with you and your kids!
