To me, the most important part about being a nanny is not only being a caregiver but also being a friend. Growing up, my babysitters never did one on one activities with me and for children, quality time and attention is vital for their learning experience. Overall, being able to be on the list of people someone can count on, is by far my biggest takeaway from being a babysitter/nanny..

At one point, I lived in Frisco, Texas where I was involved in a special needs program called, ‘Best Buddies’ at Lebanon Trail High School where I worked with special needs students on reading, writing, and oral communication.
