Even now, my girls still talk about her, and we all miss having her around. Kairi was wonderful at engaging with them through activities like reading books in the play tent, building with blocks, and playing dress-up. The house was always filled with laughter, whether they were playing indoors or outside. I always felt confident leaving my girls in her care. The most important part about being a nanny...

Communication!! I know it sounds so cliche but it really is so incredibly important, on all fronts, discipline, teachings, religion, electronics, foods. I love when people trust me blindly, it’s a huge compliment! But the amount of things that come up that haven’t been discussed, tend to happen more than you’d think!

The most important part about being a nanny...

A little boy I watched named Lucas, once accidentally hit hit head on a glass wall, so I of course picked him up and threw him on the couch (as one does with a 2 year old), but that unfortunately made him think if he hits his head I’ll throw him on the couch🤣 so he kept running over to the wall to hit his head until I picked him up and threw him on a couch🤣… he only stopped once I took him to a different room, but I can’t help but laugh every time I think of that day.
