I am a final year nursing student and have been placed in various hospital settings for approximately 3 years where interacting with children happened frequently. I have also worked at a super camp as a camp counselor working primarily with children ages 3-4 but also overall children ages 0-18.

My experience with special needs children...
I grew up caring for my sister who has severe autism (mostly non-verbal), alongside my father until I was 19. I have also worked for various organizations as a respite care worker for children ages 0-18 with an array of developmental disorders including; autism, Downs syndrome, cognitive impairment, ADHD, anger management, OCD, etc. I have a strong skill set and passion towards this population.
