A little bit about me

Hey guys! My name is Kaitlyn. Im 22 years old and I'm a student at mid michigan College. although i'm not originally from the area, I've grown to love the town and I have found permanent residence here. Im a creative person, so i'm always trying new DIY projects I find on Pinterest, or spending hours trying to paint the perfect picture. I also love the outdoors, and spend many of the nice days outside, walking through the park. I feel its a great way to get the exercise you need and still have fun doing it! As a childcare provider, I enjoy sharing my passion for creativity and the outdoors with kids. I have quite a bit of experience in childcare, as I have babysat all of my cousins, mostly from ages 3-12. I also love to cook, and im very organized, so I dont mind cleaning when needed. I am also CPR certified.

Two of the children I used to babysit were autistic. It was challenging at times but definitely rewarding

The most important part about being a nanny...

One time when I was babysitting two children, the power went out. At first the children were scared because it was during the evening in the winter season, so the house became dark. I quickly found a flashlight and turned the power outage into a time to play hide and seek in the dark. The kids loved it, and we made it a regular thing when I returned to babysit them.
