A little bit about me

Hi families, my name is Kaiya! I am a recent UCF graduate with a psychology degree with plans to become a teacher or licensed child psychologist.
My experience with children began when I was young, as my mom has run a licensed in-home daycare since I was a child. This helped me to realize how much I enjoyed working with kids! I also began private childcare on my own as a teen, and since then, have worked with infants up to school aged kids. During high school, I was in a program which allowed me to intern weekly at my local elementary schools and acquire 100+ hours of experience in school classrooms as well. I recently worked in the home daycare setting again, and have lots of amazing references! I love outdoor activities, crafts, games, and learning together. I like to think of kids as mini adults- they are so much more capable than they're often given credit for. I truly love working with children and can't wait to meet your family!
