The most important part about being a nanny is the connection. With kids, they have to know who you are as a person and want to get to know you before they want to listen to you. Building the connection and bond with a child helps them to see you( the nanny) as a reliable person and someone they can trust. This will help them want to listen to you and also just hang out with you:)

In my class with my preschoolers I was teaching them about the elements of the earth and we started to talk about flowers. I Expressed how much I love flowers and how I find them so beautiful. So then the next day one of my girls brought me in a flower from outside and it was so sweet ! She does it everyday and waits for me to come in to bring it to me😭❤️
