A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Kalyn and I am a nanny in the Marlborough area. To tell you a little bit about me, I just finished school up in New York in August and since then have been working at a daycare. I grew up babysitting an nannying so childcare is something I love very much. While my daycare experience as been great, it has also showed me the importance of working with children one on one to better help them feel seen and grow. I am looking to start full time nannying this year! I am EEC certified by the Department of Early Education and Care as well as CPR certified. I do have a license and car and am up to date on all my vaccinations. I am very passionate about teaching kids at any age using fine motor, speech development, reading and of course FUN! I am able to create my own activities to do with them such as art, music, baking and imaginative play. I am looking for a 35-40 hour a week position and would love to hear back if you’re interested!

The most important part about being a nanny is to create a space where the child feels loved and seen. In both hard and easy moments, a loved and seen child is most likely to respond with that same love towards themselves and those around them. Genuine attention and care is everything in nannying.
