More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteered at my stepmoms daycare. I come visit it the children’s hospital and sometimes stay after school to help with aftercare with children
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy keeping kids engaged with fun and educational activities like arts and crafts, reading, outdoor play, board games, baking, homework help, creative play, and age-appropriate games. I always make sure activities are safe, enjoyable, and tailored to each child’s interests.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is making sure kids feel safe, cared for, and understood. It’s about being patient with them, staying consistent, and really paying attention to what each child needs. Every kid is different, so it’s also about adjusting to them, helping them learn and grow, and just being someone they can trust and feel comfortable around every day.
My experience with special needs children...
I once helped care for a younger child who needed extra patience and structure. At first, it was challenging because they got overwhelmed easily and struggled with routines and transitions. I had to stay calm, give simple step-by-step instructions, and be very patient instead of getting frustrated. Over time, I learned how to better support them by using consistency, encouragement, and calm communication. It taught me how to adapt to different needs and stay patient in difficult moments.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments with kids are when they discover something new and you can literally see it click for them. I love watching them get excited, ask questions, and then start using what they learned in their own way in everyday life. It’s rewarding to see their confidence grow from something small, like learning a new word, skill, or idea, and then watching them carry it into how they see the world and interact with things around them.
