A little bit about me

My name is Kamryn, and I would love the opportunity to help your family. I’m a dependable, organized, and caring person who enjoys creating a clean, comfortable, and positive environment for others.

I’m currently a Health Science student, which has helped me develop strong time management, organization, and responsibility skills. I also have experience working with children through my time as a camp counselor, where I helped supervise kids, plan activities, and make sure they felt safe and supported. I’m patient, responsible, and enjoy building positive relationships with children and families.

I’m comfortable helping with household tasks such as tidying, organizing, laundry, dishes, errands, light food preparation, and assisting with children’s daily routines. I enjoy being someone a family can rely on and helping wherever I’m needed.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience caring for children through my time as a camp counselor, where I supervised children, helped plan and lead activities, and made sure each child felt safe, included, and supported. I worked with children of different ages and learned how to be patient, attentive, and adaptable to each child’s individual needs.

I also have experience creating a positive and structured environment, helping children follow routines, resolving conflicts, and encouraging them to participate in activities. This experience has strengthened my communication skills and my ability to build trusting relationships with both children and families.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing activities with children that are both fun and engaging while encouraging creativity and learning. I love doing arts and crafts, playing games, reading, helping with creative projects, outdoor activities, and finding ways for children to explore their interests. I also enjoy planning activities that keep children active, build confidence, and allow them to have fun in a safe and supportive environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, caring, and supportive environment where children feel valued and comfortable being themselves. A great nanny should be patient, dependable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs while also building trust with the family. I believe it’s important to be someone children can learn from, have fun with, and feel supported by while their parents have peace of mind knowing they are in good hands.

My experience with special needs children...

During my time as a camp counselor, I had the opportunity to work with some children with special needs. I helped create an inclusive and supportive environment where every child felt welcomed, safe, and able to participate in activities. I learned the importance of patience, flexibility, clear communication, and understanding each child’s individual needs.

While every child is different, my experience at camp helped me become more comfortable supporting children with different abilities and adapting activities to make sure everyone could be involved and have a positive experience.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments are seeing children come out of their comfort zones and gain confidence throughout the camp experience. I loved watching them make new friends, try new activities, and get excited about things they were once nervous about. Seeing a child feel proud of themselves and knowing I helped create a safe and encouraging environment for them was very rewarding.

Kristi S. - Seeking Work in Nashville

Babysitter Available in Nashville, TN: Kristi S.

I've been babysitting since I was between 12-13 years old. I started out babysitting my neighbors toddlers. I'll be down in Nashville (and love the surrounding areas of Brentwood and Franklin) starting in August as I got promoted and will be working at a new music venue in town with Live Nation so my schedule is not as consistent on a day to day basis. I'm CPR & First Aid certified. I love being around babies and toddlers and taking care of them. I also love the age of preschool to elementary school where I can interact with children and talk to them about all the questions they may or may not have. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
Rachel R. - Seeking Work in Nashville

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Nashville, TN: Rachel R.

Hello!
My name is Rachel, and I'm a second-year graduate student at Vanderbilt University studying to become a School Counselor. I am currently looking to be a part-time nanny and/or babysitter for a family with 1-3 kids of any age.

Over the past eight years, I've worked in two childcare centers, gaining experience with children from 2 months-6 years old. I also worked as a teacher's assistant in an elementary school with students ages 6-12.

I'm patient, creative, and caring, and I bring a lot of energy to play games, plan activities, and keep kids engaged throughout the day. As a nanny, I strive to create a calm, safe, and nurturing environment where children can grow, explore, and have fun.

I have my own car and am comfortable helping with light housekeeping and pets. I'm also flexible with communication and happy to connect in whatever way works best for your family.

I'd love the opportunity to get to know your family and see how I can support your needs!
