Hi I’m Kamryn Hughes! I am 20 years old. I played collage softball at West Texas A&M and right now am training getting my yoga certification! I love all these fitness and being active. I’m a very adventurous person who loves trying new things and new adventures. Softball has been a very important aspect of my life and has shaped me to be the person I am today. I love helping and teaching people the things I’ve learned while playing that I’ve applied to my life on and off the field. I’ve been able to coach a few teams and recently coached a highschool softball team. I’ve worked with kids all ages and have helped them become a better player and teammate while creating a safe and positive environment. I love making a positive impact on people’s lives everywhere I go which is something very important to me!. Im an animal lover and have been riding horses for a while as well as raising chickens which is so fun! I love being outside and going for hikes and new adventures.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I played softball growing up and went to college playing softball and have coached all ages of children through the years. I was a head coach for a high school softball team this past year and it gave me a lot of experience with taking care of my team and each player. From coaching children of all ages the past couple years I’ve learned what it looks like to set a good example and be a strong leader in doing the right thing. I’ve babysat kids in my neighborhood from ages 2 to 14 for the past three years! This winter I worked at a school as a special education Para Teacher, I learned how important having patience is and always being a positive and safe place a child can come to.

Doing crafts or little activities! Going for walks outside and exploring different places! I always love finding new fun little activities to do!

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and consistent environment where children feel loved, supported, and able to grow. Building a connection and trust with the family and children is very important to me. It’s very important to be a dependable person while being a leader and doing the right thing.
