More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve also helped watch younger cousins and family friends’ children during evenings or weekends. This experience has taught me how to adapt to different personalities, keep kids engaged with fun and age-appropriate activities, and stay calm and focused even when things get a little hectic. Whether it’s helping with homework, organizing crafts, or just being a kind and attentive listener, I always try to make sure the kids I’m with feel safe, supported, and happy.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love planning a variety of fun and age-appropriate activities that help keep kids engaged, happy, and learning. Depending on their age and interests, some of the things I enjoy doing with children include:
Creative play: Arts and crafts, drawing, painting, or building with blocks and Legos.
Outdoor activities: Playing at the park, going for walks, riding bikes, or fun backyard games like tag or hide-and-seek.
Reading time: Reading books together to encourage imagination and learning.
Educational games: Puzzles, memory games, counting, and letter practice for younger kids.
Quiet time activities: Coloring, watching a short educational show, or listening to music.
Helping with routines: Snack prep, tidying up toys, or helping them with simple tasks like brushing their teeth or getting ready for bed.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important thing about being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where children feel cared for and valued.
Kids thrive when they feel secure and understood, so I always try to build trust by being patient, kind, and consistent. It’s also important to listen to them, encourage their creativity, and respect their unique personalities. As a nanny, I know I’m not just there to watch them, I’m there to help them grow, learn, and have fun in a safe and loving way.

My experience with special needs children...
I also have experience caring for children with special needs, including my own younger brother, who is a G-tube baby. Helping care for him has taught me a lot about being patient, gentle, and attentive to specific medical needs. I’m familiar with routines like feeding through a G-tube, administering medications, and understanding non-verbal cues. This experience has made me more compassionate, responsible, and confident in supporting children who may need a little extra care and attention.
