I have babysit children every summer for like 7/8 years if not longer. In high school is was my summer job that I did but now that I am grown of course I do it whenever I am available or when someone is looking for one. I absolutely love children!!

I enjoy planning activities that are both fun and engaging for children while also supporting their learning and development. Some activities I especially enjoy include arts and crafts, reading stories, outdoor play, board games, and simple baking projects. I also like helping with homework, doing creative learning activities, and encouraging children to stay active and use their imagination. I always try to create a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment where children feel comfortable and supported.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and trustworthy environment for the children and their family. It’s important to build a positive relationship with the children by being patient, dependable, and attentive to their needs while also encouraging learning, creativity, and good communication. I also believe maintaining trust and open communication with parents is essential to providing the best care possible.

I babysit a little boy who had Down Syndrome for 10 years And it was the most rewarding job ever!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One sweet moment I always remember was when a child I babysat made me a handmade drawing and told me I was their “best babysitter friend.” It was such a small gesture, but it meant a lot because it showed they felt comfortable, happy, and cared for while I was with them. Moments like that are one of the reasons I enjoy babysitting so much.
