My name is Karis i am 19. Working with kids has always been a positive experience for me. I love the entertainment and passion for this kind of job. The energy to keep up with the kids and the passion to give it ur best shot with every outcome. I love animals!! I have a few myself and I enjoy having a great conversation. My drive in life is stay focused on my goals. I have high energy and I’m very patient with kids. When I was 13 I started working at day cares under supervision and then as I got older I meet family friends started babysitting fully at 16 and has since met amazing families I have fully been babysitting for about 3 years going onto my fourth year. The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel it’s to understand. To understand the kids the family and the parents. Another one is listening. You are being brought into a family you have to listen to the mom the kids and the parents, along with understanding how each family works. You are being brought into a family and that a privilege always know where you stand and just be mindful

My experience with special needs children...

I do have a small amount. I’ve only had family friend interactions and I’ve learned to be understanding patient and how to control what you say and how you react. But in the end they are kids and you learn how to interact with them just like anybody!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment was, I was with these two girls that I was babysitting for the summer and we were outside playing charades. We were having so much fun. It was so cute to see how creative they were and how much fun they were having. The cute moment was they didn’t want me to leave and said I haven’t laughed this much in a long time. It made me feel very happy that we all had a fun time!
