Hi there!
My name is Karla and I absolutely adore caring for children. My love for children started at a young age, as I would take care of kids at ASAP, an elementary after school program and help them with their homework. As I’ve gotten older, my interest for children education has only grown, I am currently majoring in Children Development and Children Education at Ventura College. I also volunteer at the Santa Barbara Boys and Girls club. As a stepmom of a 3 year old myself, I believe children must be given the opportunity to obtain interactive choices in order for them to rise their own free will and decision making, while maintaining respect for others around. I enjoy sharing my love for animals, the great outdoors, and interactive learning games (games vary depending on age). I am CPR certified and have basic first aid training (such as pediatric and infant chocking). I am also bilingual I write and speak fluently in Spanish.
