Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes babysitting for several families, where I ensured their safety, prepared meals, and helped with bedtime routines. I also cared for my friend’s children and family members in Baltimore, Maryland. Since moving to Texas, I have continued providing childcare for my friend’s children, giving me consistent and hands-on experience caring for kids of different ages.

My indoor activities are: Arts & Crafts Drawing, painting, making paper crafts, or creating DIY slime, Dance Party Play music and dance together to get their energy out, Hide and Seek Still a classic and great for all ages, Simon Says Great for following directions and giggles, Musical Chairs or Freeze Dance Play music and stop suddenly, and Movie + Pajama Time Make it cozy with snacks and a blanket fort.

The most important part about being a nanny is building trust and a strong connection with both the children and their parents. When children feel safe, loved, and understood, they’re able to grow, learn, and express themselves freely.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when the little girl I cared for surprised me with a handmade card that said, “You’re my best friend.” She had drawn us holding hands, and it completely melted my heart. It reminded me how much trust and love children can give when they feel safe and cared for.
