Hi, I am karla, I have spent a great deal of time committing to embracing all ages of children, impacting them with educational knowledge, geared toward their age, going on field trips or a simple walk or bike ride and definitely lots of snuggles every day. I enjoy staying active spending time outside as much as possible but when not possible inside activities are just as fulfilling and entangling my world around the energy and uniqueness of a child. I owned and ran my own daycare for 20 years where I provided services for children with disabilities as well during that time. I also have my teaching degree and reading endorsement, kids have always been my passion….my entertainment ( which is always welcoming and individually unique) I have a great deal of patience and compassion and understanding for each child’s separate needs. no child will ever go unnoticed as an individual in my heart.

The most important part is making that child feel confident strong , and “able” each and every day with everything they choose to tackle while also providing them, through exampling the skills the ability of learning how to be“aware” and to “process” all types of emotions so to ultimately understand ones inner self with acceptance not shame, successfully developing strong communication skills to express their emotions is needed with failures as well as with successes. Children need to know it is extremely healthy and acceptable to have an array of emotions. When properly taught how to express them in a healthy and acceptable fashion allows for amazing acceptance and growth instead of destruction. Establishing and providing that child a safe, and loving platform for expressing all types of emotion, teaches the importance of healthy emotional growth and sustainability, and I believe that is best achieved from a caregiver that has personally had a great deal of experience and knowledge
