Hi there! I’m Kasidee; a loving, patient, and dependable caregiver with a lifelong passion for helping others. While childcare hasn’t been my full time career, I have years of experience caring for infants, toddlers, and kids of all ages. I’m also a very dedicated aunt so I know how to juggle playtime, mealtime, and bedtime with care and consistency! In addition, I also help care for my adult grandmother, which has given me a strong sense of responsibility and compassion.
After a 15 year career in the automotive industry, I recently relocated to the Ellsworth area with my boyfriend for his job and decided to follow my heart toward something more meaningful; caring for families and little ones. I recently renewed my CPR and First Aid certification and always make safety, trust, and kindness my top priorities. Families describe me as nurturing, reliable, and fun to be around. The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting, loving relationship with the children and their family. It’s about creating a safe, nurturing environment where kids feel valued, supported, and free to be themselves. A great nanny doesn’t just watch children, they guide, teach, and care for them as if they were their own, helping them grow with kindness, patience, and consistency.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not personally nannied a child with special needs, but I have experience working with them through music programs I have helped facilitate. I found it very rewarding to help normalize their experience and make sure they knew they were a valued member of the group.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was helping a shy child become more social through music and singing. This wasn’t a child I nannied, but one I mentored through a music program I helped facilitate. We spent time learning songs together, clapping, and dancing, and over time I watched them gain confidence, join in group activities, and even lead sing alongs with other children. Seeing their personality blossom and their smile grow was incredibly rewarding and reminded me why I love working with kids.
